Raise awareness
Accompanying changes in behaviour
In 2025, Refashion stepped up its public awareness efforts
with a resolutely educational and engaging approach: reaching out to audiences directly, building lasting habits around more responsible textile consumption, and mobilising all target groups — from consumers to field actors.
One of the highlights of the year was Tissu de Vérité ("Fabric of Truth"), an immersive and innovative pop-up installed in the heart of Paris in November 2025: a shop where nothing is for sale and everything is there to be understood. Quizzes, sensory workshops, hands-on exploration of materials — visitors were able to unpick 10 common misconceptions about textiles and footwear, leaving reassured about their sorting habits and better equipped to consume more responsibly. To maximise the reach of the initiative, Refashion partnered with two personalities able to connect with a wide audience: Jamy Gourmaud, to decode the journey of a used textile from collection to recovery, and Daphné Burki, to shine a light on second-hand and repair.
At the We Love Green festival in June, Refashion offered an original concept for the second year running: the Fashion Check-Up. Set up as a mock clinic, the stand invited festival-goers to attend a “medical consultation” to diagnose their textile consumption habits and leave with a personalised prescription.

“On Refait la Mode” returned for a second season on M6, confirming the success of a mainstream format capable of changing the way people view responsible fashion.
To raise awareness among younger audiences, Refashion has been continuing its partnership with Bayard Jeunesse for the past two years, centred on a set of educational and fun resources designed to introduce children to the principles of the circular economy as applied to textiles and footwear. In 2025, this partnership was expanded with a new video to make these issues even more accessible to young audiences.
Finally, the must-attend annual event for industry professionals, the 5th edition of Refashion Day, once again emphasised the imperative need to work together — a sine qua non for a genuine circular transition. Gaspard Koenig and the other speakers set the tone for a day focused on the need to innovate collectively in order to build new, sustainable circular business models.
